How to interpret NPS
NPS is the percentage of respondents who score 9 or 10 minus the percentage who score 0 through 6 on the standard recommendation question. Passives score 7 or 8. The result ranges from −100 to 100.
An NPS is not a diagnosis or a universal benchmark. Read it with the response count, survey timing, customer segment, and comments. Use consistent wording and sampling when comparing periods.
